How do I install an HTML5 app?

Here are some basic instructions on how to install HTML5 apps on platforms such as Apple iOS, Google Android and Blackberry 6, so that they are easily accessible from your home screen:

Apple iOS:
  1. In Safari browser, go to the application.
  2. Tap the + at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add to confirm.
  5. A new application icon appears on your home screen.
Google Android:
  1. In the browser, go to the application.
  2. Press your device's Menu button.
  3. Select More.
  4. Choose Add Bookmark
  5. Alter the name (if desired) and click OK
  6. Press your device's Home button, then press the Menu button
  7. Select Add > Shortcut > Bookmark.
  8. Find the application and select it
  9. A new application icon appears on your home screen.
BlackBerry 6:
  1. In the browser, go to the application.
  2. Tap the globe icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Select Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add to confirm.
  5. A new application icon appears on your home screen.
Maemo 5:
  1. In MicroB browser, go to the application.
  2. Tap the + at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select Shortcut to Desktop.
  4. A new shortcut icon appears on your home screen.
